About Jack

Jack Kehoe is a NYC-based singer, actor, voice teacher, and musician. He currently attends New York University (NYU) Steinhardt, pursuing a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance: Musical Theatre and an Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy.

While he spent most of his youth in Washington, D.C., Jack has lived in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and went to school at the University of Virginia (UVA). Frequently moving has helped hone Jack’s ability to jump into new communities with a positive and curious attitude. At UVA, Jack received a Bachelor of Arts in both Music and Computer Science. Jack has always held a love of math and logic, partially inspiring his interest in music theory, aural skills, sight reading, and composition.

However, Jack’s main passion remains performing. He has appeared in multiple NYU and UVA productions, and has sung extensively in ensembles of a variety of styles: he was the music director of an a cappella group and a section leader in both a local church choir and UVA’s flagship chorus, the University Singers. Jack has also been in a band, and can play piano and guitar.

Jack has also started to teach voice at NYU. As an Adjunct Instructor of Voice, he teaches non-majors how to sing from a beginner to advanced level in a variety of styles.

When he’s not performing or teaching, Jack is often reading fantasy series such as A Song of Ice and Fire or The Expanse, improvising chord changes on the piano, hiking, solving puzzles, or watching YouTube videos on the history of MarioKart Wii speedruns.
